| ||Model of the car:||Toyota Supra |
| ||General comments:||I paid $8000 because it only had 50,000 miles on the engine. I spent almost $2000 for the headgasket. Again with time and money this car can be a real Japanese Super car. Better than the integras and civics out there. The motors can be pumped up with aftermarket performance parts. Be careful! With these parts the 7M-GTE will gain tremendous power. Keep it mild if you can't handle it. A stock internal 7M-GTE can handle 500 HP. Anything else your gonna need a high performance engine rebuild. Supras are great you just have to be very forgiving witht the money you spend.|
| ||What things have gone wrong with the car:||The 7M-GE and 7M-GTE blow headgaskets very easily. They are a pain in the ass to repair. Parts are insainly expensive. Aftermarket performance parts (HKS,Greddy, TRD) even more expensive. Engines are very cramped and very hard to work on. If you want to spend the time and money this is a great buy. If you don't want to spend the money then buy a Civic or Integra and join the Rice Rocket crowd.|
| ||Previous car:||No other cars compair. The 300ZX is a baby compared to these Supras|
