| ||Model of the car:||Supra 7MGE|
| ||General comments:||i bought this car from the first owner with 180k miles on it. the car has been in great shape in and out. this is a nonturbo model,so no headgasket problem. The only problem it had when i bought was leaking valve cover gasket. engine was running great,like new. The car is VERY solid compared to 80s vette, mustangs, camaros. no body twists, rattles of any kind. the 4 wheel double wishbone suspension makes it track any road surface and corners. great usefull interior and ergonomics. mine is a five speed, and i managed to do 140mph in it at 6000rpm for about 5 miles. However the piston rod bearings didn't handle it, now they need to be replaced. the engine has a laud knocking in it. the cause: i used 10w30 oil instead of 10w40 and the timing was not at its peak.|
| ||What things have gone wrong with the car:||very heavy car, poor low speed acceleration, slow heavy shifting, could use 6th gear|
| ||Previous car:||84vette, and 88 iroc, supra is much more solid car, doesn;t feel like the body is gonna split in half on bad roads|
